Our Team of staff and volunteers are committed, credible, and suitable messengers. Serving as professional healthcare providers in our neighborhoods and communities to significantly reduce the epidemic of violence, and particularly gun violence.
With great vision from the Mayor's Office, TPHCDEC, and key stakeholders, Cure Violence Jacksonville/Northside MVP Team was formed in March 2023; guided by the understanding that violence is a health issue, that individuals and communities can transform themselves, and that community partners and strategic partnerships are keys to success. Through a rigorous, scientific, and data-driven approach, Cure Violence Jacksonville/Northside MVP Team helps communities by detecting and interrupting violence, stopping the spread of violence by providing programmatic services for behavioral modification, and changing the mindsets of communities to empower significant reductions in gun violence.
